Before moving on to the general listing of links, there are two issues concerning current trends which are of great importance.
The first is Yucca Mountain. Two sites are up that the concerned should visit, MapScience.org, and
YuccaPetition.org. The former can show you how close your address is to a waste transport route
to the Yucca Mountain site, as well as bring up some related facts about the area. The latter is the most authoritative petition available
for voicing opposition to the Yucca siting. I urge you to visit both. The senate vote on Yucca Mountain is due around July 9th or 10th, so
please check it out.
The second issue is about the recycling of metal contaminated with radioisotopes from power plants- these metals will be mixed with regular
recycled metal and distributed without labeling as containing radioisotopes. Here are some sites with data on that topic:
